Nejat Kiyici

Nejat was born in Istanbul in 1966. After graduating Istanbul medical school of Istanbul university in 1989, he came to New York to advance his career. He completed his internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship at New York Medical College affiliated Our Lady of Mercy Medical Center in the Bronx. He has worked in the private practice several years and joined Montefiore Medical Center as full time attending. He has been the chief of endoscopy at the Montefiore Medical Center Wakefield division in the Bronx since 2002. He has enjoyed teaching the medical students, residents and fellows. His main interest is doing advance colonoscopies and prevention of colorectal cancer in minorities.
