Metin Taskin

Dr. Metin Taskin is a hematopathologist and works at Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, NJ.

He received his medical degree from Hacettepe University School of Medicine in 1987 and completed anatomic pathology residency in the same institution. After training in Turkey, he continued his residency in Anatomic and Clinic pathology at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York and then followed by hematopathology fellowship at New York University Medical Center in New York. After fellowship, Dr. Taskin returned to Turkey and worked as an attending pathologist in department of Pathology, Hacettepe University School of Medicine and taught in the same medical school as an associate professor.

Dr. Taskin returned to Lenox Hill Hospital in August 2000. In 2002, he joined Ridgewood Pathology Group and has practiced in Valley Health System, Ridgewood, NJ since then. He has served in various capacity as a member of Turkish American Medical Association since 1995.
